WPCSD Learn from Home and Return to School Survey--Survey Closes June 29

I am incredibly proud of the work WPCSD students, families, teachers, support staff, and principals did during the Learn from Home period.  It was difficult for everyone and I admire the efforts that were put forth.

As a learning organization, we are constantly looking for information we can use to help us improve.  Your feedback is an important part of this.  Accordingly, I ask that you take 15 minutes to complete this survey, which will help us incorporate your feedback.

Additionally, the survey contains questions about potential scenarios to return to normal school in the fall.  The Nevada Department of Education has asked us to prepare plans for a full return, a full distance education model (Learn from Home) and a combination of the two.  Occupying the buildings in any capacity requires us to abide by Nevada's current health and safety requirements (social distancing, limiting the number of people at any one place, hygiene, sanitization, face coverings, etc.).  The purpose of this portion of the survey is to gauge the comfort level of families with these restrictions when the alternative might be to continue distance education.  My desire is to have students and teachers resume school in as close to normal of a situation as possible on August 31--understanding that we will be required to have restrictions in place.  Your feedback on this portion of the survey will help us develop our plan to make that happen.

Thank you for your time.  Please click here to take the survey.
